Timpson and Holman compile 25 case studies that can be used to teach students in higher education about diversity, sustainability, peace, and reconciliation. Contributed by graduate education students in a 2009 course on classrooms and communication, the cases relate to the themes of education; business, media, and law; the environment; families and communities; and values and ethics. Each includes an explanation of the current situation or central question, background information, instructional options, lists and summaries of core readings, the sustainability focus, evaluation ideas using Bloom’s taxonomy, models of communication, and debriefing questions.
